Birthday Frequently Asked Questions
Most frequently asked questions about a birthday party at saveology iceplex.

Q1. How do I make a reservation?  
    To reserve a time and date for your child’s next birthday party, you must come into our facility and fill out a reservation form, sign a liability waiver, and put down a $75.00 deposit. Payments will not be accepted over the phone. Waivers will not be accepted by fax.           

Q2. I don’t see the date I’m interested in. Does that mean it’s unavailable?
    If you do not see the date you are interested in, please call 954-341-9956 to confirm the availability status. If you are booking the birthday party two weeks prior or less, it is likely that the date is unavailable.

Q3. Can I make changes to my party package once I make a reservation?
    Once your reservation is complete, you may make changes to your reservation based on availability.
           
Q4. What is the cancellation policy?
    To receive a full refund on the party deposit, the party must be cancelled no later than 10 days prior to the event. There are no other refunds given on party deposits.

Q5. Is there a waiver that needs to be signed?
       A liability waiver is attached to the reservation form. This waiver must be signed in order to complete the reservation.
     
Q6. Will my child be guaranteed a ride on the Zamboni? And can they bring a friend?
       The All Star Package will guarantee the birthday child a ride on the Zamboni. The Zamboni only has one seatbelt and therefore can only hold one birthday child. No siblings or friends are permitted on the Zamboni.

Q7. Can I bring in additional decorations, snacks, beverages &/or my own Gift Bags?
    Additional decorations are permitted, with an exception of helium balloons and confetti. Chips, pretzels, and candy may be brought in but NO OTHER outside food is permitted in our facility. All beverages must purchased through our facility. Gift bags are included in all of our birthday party packages, but additional bags are permitted.

Q8. Is gratuity included for the Party Leader that assists my party?
    Gratuity is not included. We suggest a 15-18% of the final bill.
        
Q9. Do I need to bring in my own paper products?
    All paper products for all children and adults are included in the price of the package. This includes cups, plates, napkins, tablecloths, forks and knives.

Q10. I will have a few very young children attending my party. Will there be anyone to help them on the ice?
    There will be ice monitors on the ice during the party to assist children if they fall or are injured. Personal instruction is available for an additional charge. We also have easy gliders available for use. Easy gliders are white walkers that assist children age 7 and under in skating. They are available for $5.00 each.

Q11. What does the gift bag consist of?
    The gift bag is a sports water bottle filled with candy and a buy one get one free skating pass.

Q12. Do I have to pay for additional adults? How much are they?
     The first two adults in the package, typically the party mom and dad, are free. Any additional adults that are skating are $9.00 each, including skates. You can choose to pay for the additional adults or our staff can direct them to pay for themselves. Only adults that are skating are $9.00 each.
