PHILOSOPHY
The goal of the Florida Panthers Hockey Schools is to provide youth hockey players at all levels – from beginner to elite – with a meaningful learning experience in a fun & positive atmosphere.  Over the course of each session, Florida Panthers players, staff & coaches will instruct players using NHL inspired tactics & philosophies.  To maximize the impact & experience for each individual player, the schools are organized by age, ability & position.  The Florida Panthers Hockey Schools give you the exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Florida Panthers that no other hockey camp can provide.  Your child will see what it's like to be a real NHL player and Florida Panther this summer!  Our instructors are committed to making the 2012 Hockey Schools the best yet!

OFF-ICE INSTRUCTION
The Florida Panthers Hockey Schools provide players with NHL-style off-ice instruction, skill-development & conditioning techniques. This pro-style instruction is EXCLUSIVE to the Panthers Hockey Schools & is not available anywhere else.

 CAMP HIGHLIGHTS
• Instruction from Florida Panthers players and alumni.  Past players have included: Mike Santorelli, Keaton Ellerby, Jason Garrison, Shawn Matthias, Bill Lindsay, Mike Van Ryn, Stephen Weiss,  Darcy Hordichuk, Nathan Horton, Peter Worrell, Ray Sheppard, Gord Murphy, Ryan Johnson & more!

• NHL-style teaching methods & conditioning & motivational techniques            
• Both on-ice and dry land instruction per session (on-ice only for Stanley's Future Stars).    Two to three hours of on-ice instruction for full day camps.
• Challenging, positive & fun atmosphere
• Off-Ice Training includes – One Full Hour of shooting daily at the Hockey Shooting Academy with Coach Gus Dumoulin.  Campers will participate in intense stickhandling and shooting drills designed to improve their coordination and skill with the puck.  All players will be provided with meaningful and positive feedback during each off-ice session and will be evaluated by Panthers Hockey School instructors throughout the week to measure improvement and help them to gain confidence!

LUNCH

Stanley's Future Stars School - June 18 to 22, 2012
Stanley C. Panthers’ Future Stars school gives young players the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of hockey. Players will enjoy a natural progression in skill level throughout this session & become more confident in all aspects of skating, stickhandling & puck movement. They will also be taught the basics of their equipment, preparation, rules of hockey, & the importance of fair play.  This camp is perfect for the hockey player just getting started such as our Stanley C. Hockey (Hockey 101), Youth Learn to Play Hockey (Hockey 201) and Mini-Mites Cross Ice League graduates in that younger age range.   

Panthers Ultimate Hockey School - June 18 to 22, 2012 -
with guest instructor Florida Panthers defenseman Erik Gudbranson!
Featuring instruction from Florida Panthers players, the Panthers Ultimate Hockey School caters to players with a wide range of ability level, from beginner to intermediate skill and even seasoned youth players looking to continue to work on their skills in the summer.  Players are grouped by skill level & take part in a wide range of drills & training sessions that benefit anyone from new ice hockey players, to roller hockey players to those with a foundation of ice hockey experience & skills.

Panthers ULTIMATE Goalie School - July 23 to 27, 2012
Run by Panthers Goaltending Coach and former NHL netminder Robb Tallas, the Florida Panthers Goalie School focuses on improving the unique physical skills and mental toughness that the position of goaltender demands.  The Ultimate Goalie School is tailored towards goalies with skill levels ranging from beginner to intermediate.

Panthers ELITE Goalie School - July 30 to August 3, 2012
Taught by Florida Panthers Goalie Coach Rob Tallas, the Elite Goalie School is meant for the advanced goalie. Instruction will be focused on more complex drills and techniques with the goal being to develop goalies for elite travel and amateur programs. If there are any questions regarding qualifications, please check with our house staff.
