Saveology.com Iceplex to Host 2013 USA Hockey HS National Championships Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced...
Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Saveology.com Iceplex has been selected to host the varsity division of the 2013 USA Hockey High School National Championships March 20-24, 2013.The event marks the second time the Saveology.com Iceplex will host a USA Hockey National Championship, having hosted the USA Hockey Youth U14 National Championship in 2002 – the first time a USA Hockey National Championship had ever been staged in Florida. A total of 24 high school teams from across the country are expected at the event.
“We’re thrilled to be named host for this prestigious event,” said Jeff Campol, Vice President/General Manager of the Saveology.com Iceplex. “We had a wonderful experience hosting a similar event in 2002 and are excited to welcome so many new guests to the facility for this tournament.”
Located in Coral Springs, the Saveology.com Iceplex is the official practice facility of the Florida Panthers. The 125,000-square-foot venue includes three sheets of ice and was ranked by USA Today in 2006 as one of the top 10 places to skate in the U.S. Open 364 days a year, the venue welcomes more than one million guests annually.

This USA Hockey 8 week group class held year round is designed to teach boys and girls the fundamentals of ice hockey and prepare then for future participation in our P.A.H.A. recreational hockey league. This program is designed for first time hockey players who have acquired basic skating skills. Children ages 5-12 years are invited to learn how to play while having fun!
Full hockey equipment is required. Complete Learn to Play packages are available at incredible SPORTS, our full service Pro Shop. All registered participants receive a 10% discount on most items. Certain restrictions apply.
Classes are held on Saturday mornings from 10:30am to 11:30am for Fall 2011. ONLY $199.00 + Tax per player to register for the entire session OR Drop In for just $35.00 + Tax per player per class.

Our introductory group class is designed and focused to teach basic skating skills. This program, designed for Stanley C skaters ages 3 - 8 with little or no skating experience specifically designed to introduce an enjoyable on-ice learning experience at an early age. Interesting games, music and activities are incorporated into each class with the emphasis on FUN while learning basic skating skills. Read More
The Panthers Mini Mites Cross Ice League is an entry level program designed to give our Stanley C Hockey graduates and any children 7yrs of age and under a chance to interact, develop and play hockey in a team environment. The Mini Mites Cross Ice League was formed to align with USA Hockey's American Development Model (ADM). This 12 week program includes weekly practices and games using cross ice play. For more information regarding the benefits of cross ice development, please read below. Teams practice for 90 minutes on Saturdays and then all teams play a "tournament series" round of games every Sunday. Read More
