Youth Stickhandling Clinic

Introducing the NEW Youth Stickhandling Clinic with Coach Gus*! Whether you’re a youth travel hockey player looking to refine your shooting and stickhandling skills or a recreational player looking to take your game to the next level, this clinic will help any youth hockey player become a natural scorer! 
  
The clinic is offered the first Wednesday of each month and is open to ALL youth players, both travel and recreational. Attending the Youth Stickhandling clinic regularly is a great way for your child to see positive results in a critical area of any hockey player’s game – stickhandling – all in a safe, fun atmosphere!

Sessions for two age groups are available:

·         Ages 6 to 10 from 5:15pm to 5:45pm
·         Ages 11 to 14 from 5:45pm to 6:15pm

·         Wednesday, March 7, 2012
·         Wednesday, April 4, 2012
·         Wednesday, May 2, 2012

 Coach Gus Dumoulin, featured instructor for the Youth Stickhandling Clinic, brings years of experience as an instructor with the Florida Panthers, Saveology.com Iceplex, the internationally-renowned Turcotte Hockey School, and as owner of the Hockey Shooting Academy. He is an expert in stickhandling techniques and teaches all levels of hockey.

Spring Xtreme Skills Challenge

Five weeks, five skills!  This twice-weekly program run Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 10 to May 10 and is open to travel level players.  Each Tuesday's on-ice session focuses on a particular skill.  Players go on to compete with one another for prizes at the end of the session.  Thursday sessions include three 18 minute cross-ice4 on 4 games with age appropriate teams.  Jerseys will be provided for player use during the program.

Game winners will be crowned that week's champion and receive special t-shirts and bragging rights.

Week Three - Passing
Week Four - Shooting
Week Five - Checking and Angling

The cost for this program is $275.00 plus tax per player.  There is no charge for goalies.

Spring Xtreme All-Star Xtravaganza

AA / AAA players from all over the state will spend the weekend working with and competing against each other in an exciting four game challenge!  Placed on equally-fielded teams, players will work for team and individual awards.  Stats will be kept and judges will vote based on different categories

The Spring Xtreme All-Star Xtravaganza offers a chance for top athletes to have a lot of fun while gaining experience and building on their teamwork and individual skill sets.  The program is open to travel players

Participants

The Spring Xtreme Xtravaganza is open to qualified 00, 01, 02 and 03 travel players.

Selects Training

Sunday Skills Development Program at Official Selects Training Facility, Saveology.com Iceplex!

Looking for additional enhancement to your skills?  Run by the prestigious Selects Hockey, our Spring Sunday training program is open to all travel players in birth years 1998 to 2004.

This Spring Sunday training program begins March 25 and runs through June 17 and features:

- 12.5 hours of on-ice training
- 9 hours of off-ice training
- 5 day skills camp, to include 10 hours of ice, video review, classroom sessions and dryland skill development
- Run by highly skilled hockey pros, including guest instructor Besa Tsintsadze, Boston Bruins power skating coach.

Sign up for Besa's Power Skating Clinic.  Besa Tsintsadze is the power skating coach for the NHL's Boston Bruins.  Program is open to travel players
